At Ironman Fortaleza, this happened!
My first Ironman win!! I have so much to write about and so many people to thank, so you can expect some BIG recap posts coming soon!!
In the meantime, I am still in Brazil! After the Ironman I flew down to Florianopolis where I will be racing Challenge Florianopolis (half distance tri) on November 30th!
In Floripa I’m training and staying with Brasilian Pro Ana Lidia Borba. Ana just raced Ironman Fortaleza too, AND she’s doing a sprint tri between the Ironman and the Challenge race! Lots of racing in the Brasilian Summer!
Ana and I after a swim with her local club! We even did a butterfly relay just three days post-IM. Ouch!!
Floripa is an AMAZING place. It’s absolutely gorgeous here and it really reminds me a lot of Kona. Ana’s been super nice and she’s showed me some beautiful riding and running routes that I can’t wait to check out after some quality recovery time on the beach!
